Is your cabinet full of chemical-laden creams and medicines, still nothing seems to work? Even if you feel that they have made your skin blemish-free, aren’t the results short lived and your pimple and acne marks come back to haunt you again?

Here are some safe and long-term solutions to treat your pimple and acne mark that too without triggering side-effects.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil has the potential of creating magical results. It has mystical healing properties, and your great-grandmother can vouch for that. All you need to do is spread a teaspoon of coconut oil in your palm. Gently massage the oil on the scar with your fingertips. The oil will get soaked in gradually. You don’t have to wash the oil after some time as the skin will get back to normal and non-oily on its own. Also, do not wash away the oil because the vitamins and essential fatty acids keep working for a long time.

Aloe Vera

Another list topper is the Aloe Vera. Aloe Vera is full of essential vitamins which helps in healing and fading away the scars. It is a gentle organic gel that gives a cooling effect to the skin making you feel refreshed and rejuvenated, unlike other acne treatments which often irritates the skin. It is a softer and a healthier option which is easily found in any chemist shop.

If you can manage to hunt for a real aloe vera plant, nothing like It. To use, just take one aloe leaf, peel away the outer layer, you will see the shimmering gel. Massage this gel slowly on your skin. Let your skin soak the aloe gel for an hour or so before you wash it off.

Yogurt

Yogurt is an effective acne solution as it contains large amounts of alpha hydroxyl acids and lactic acid which regenerates your skin and treats acne scars. Honey is another star performer when it comes to the skin treatment. It can effectively diminish the redness of your scars or pimples. Honey is a natural antibiotic that can even work when your scars are very dark. Do make sure to use completely natural and ecological honey.
